Stiftung Experimentelle Biomedizin is a non-profit foundation constituted under Swiss law and domiciled in Zurich. Stiftung Experimentelle Biomedizin is subject to supervision by the Swiss Federal Department of the Interior in Berne.

A further concern of Stiftung Experimentelle Biomedizin is the advancement of scientific journalism. The field of operations of Stiftung Experimentelle Biomedizin extends to Switzerland, Germany and Austria.
